100% customer satisfaction is very important to us – If you are not satisfied with your Crittergetter for any reason, please return it! See our Return Policy for details.
We have two versions of the Crittergetter: The Original and The Homeowner. The Original Crittergetter hose is constructed of very heavy gage 3-Ply Polyester Yarns, is tough enough to be driven over by a car on a rocky surface without being damaged, and was created with the intent of withstanding continuous vigorous use. For those who do not require the industrial strength durability of the original, we have the Homeowner Crittergetter. By forming a union between the Original Crittergetter hose and our lightweight plastic hose we can offer a product that is better suited to the majority of our users needs. Other benefits of the Homeowner Crittergetter as compared to the Original Crittergetter are as follows:
You may require a small garden shovel to clear any loose soil or debris from your target burrow opening – not included.
Please see our Shipping Policy for important shipping information prior to making a purchase.

A note regarding critters who are surface tunneling - surface tunneling is when a tunneling critter travels around at a shallow depth, slightly raising the ground - creating a trail that is easily followed. When these animals (Moles, Voles, and Pocket Gophers) are engaged in this type of foraging activity the Crittergetters effectiveness may be diminished due to the shallow nature of these tunnels allowing the gasses to escape. Have Faith! The Crittergetter has been used successfully against this activity. The velocity of the exhaust in the small tunnel is great enough to keep any loss to a minimum - the path of least resistance is down the burrow, not pushing through broken soil! However, it may require a couple of applications using the Crittergetter to eliminate this critter.
Your results using the Crittergetter and its immediate effectiveness during use will depend largely on how established your critter has become. In the situation where a burrow opening is at the end of a large burrow system persistence is the key - Reapply if necessary - Once you have eliminated a long time resident, newcomers will be much easier to control.
The Crittergetter hose has a maximum operating temperature of 170°F (76.7 C). For most applications 170°F (76.7 C) is well in excess of the operating temperature that will be achieved. However, if you have concern your vehicle may operate at a temperature in excess of this maximum, please order a test sample.
Check with your local authorities to insure the critter you are targeting is not protected.
The Original Crittergetter performs its best when used in temperatures in excess of 55°F. If used in temperatures near or below 55°F it is especially important to make sure there are not any sharp kinks or bends in the hose when preparing to fumigate a burrow.
