The Crittergetter hose has a maximum operating temperature of 170°F (76.7 C). For most applications 170°F (76.7 C) is well in excess of the operating temperature that you will achieve. However, if you are concerned that your vehicle may operate at a temperature in excess of this maximum (some small push mowers and some small tractors can surpass this threshold), please order a test Sample or email us to discuss some alternatives.
The Homeowner Crittergetter requires a small bit of assembly involving a standard screwdriver. Also, you may require a small garden shovel to clear any loose soil or debris from your target burrow opening, which is not included.
